Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Shot Firers and Charge Hands to undertake explosive charging tasks in a Central Queensland mine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe and efficient use, storage, preparation, and setup of explosive charging equipment in line with regulatory requirements and underground works standards.
  • Collaborate with the team under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of awareness of Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience operating as an underground Shot Firer and/or Charge Hand.
  • Current Qld Shotfirers Licence and Dangerous Goods Card or ability to meet requirements and gain.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
