Job Description

As a team member in our maintenance crew, you will be working alongside other team members to ensure the upkeep and enhancement of our green spaces across various council-controlled roadsides and open areas within Brisbane.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. If you are motivated, diligent, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team environment, this position could be an excellent fit for you.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Operating various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining and performing regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensuring lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Completing service requests as required
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in zero turn mowing and brush cutting of open spaces
  • A valid manual driver's license
  • A white card
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team or individually
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
