Our company is seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and commercial project delivery, with a proven track record of managing procurement, assessing risk, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Bachelor's or postgraduate qualification in Law, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior contracts management role within the construction industry
- Strong working knowledge of head and subcontract agreements, construction law, and procurement processes
- Skilled in managing contract negotiations, claims, variations, and dispute resolution
- Experience with contract compliance, financial controls, and reporting
- Capable of reviewing scope documentation and overseeing the tendering process
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management tools
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Contracts Manager to take on a challenging role and make a significant contribution to our business.
You will be responsible for overseeing contract administration and procurement activities, ensuring commercial and contractual obligations are met and risks are effectively managed.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle from tender to execution and finalisation
- Lead contract negotiations, administration of claims, variations, and final accounts
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and timelines
- Coordinate tender documentation preparation, evaluation, and award of subcontract packages
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks, resolving contractual issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate contract records and support financial reporting and audits
- Work closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and legal advisors
- Provide leadership and support to Contracts Administrators and other team members
