This is a unique opportunity to join our Food and Beverage Accelerator as a specialist in food product innovation. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality research outcomes in support of the development and innovation life-cycle, focusing on enhancing nutritional properties and sustainability credentials of animal and plant-based foods.
We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in food manufacture, processing, and/or development to perform food product and process development and characterisation using lab- and pilot-scale twin screw extruders.
Key Responsibilities- Apply technical skills and knowledge to develop novel food products, ingredients, and processes.
- Implement research results and new knowledge from science and engineering to drive business growth.
- Assist in managing projects and technologies to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Maintain high standards of research housekeeping, safety, and laboratory operations.
- Design and coordinate experiments to identify problems and solutions.
- Contribute to research outputs, reports, and manuscripts.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and results.

About You- Hold a relevant degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

- Possess strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
