We are currently seeking candidates for our part-time trainee positions, ideal for those looking to start a new career. As a trainee aged care worker, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills while working with our team of experienced caregivers.
No prior experience is required, as we offer comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure your success. Our flexible schedule allows for a minimum of 15 hours per week, up to 38 hours per week, making it an ideal option for students or individuals looking to supplement their income.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, and have a strong willingness to learn and work effectively as part of a team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care and assistance to elderly clients, including showering, dressing, grooming, and bed making.
- Assisting with feeding and meal preparation, ensuring the highest standards of nutrition and hygiene are maintained.
- Engaging in social activities and building rapport with clients and staff, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
