Wall and Floor Tiling Specialist

We are seeking an experienced wall and floor tiling specialist to join our team. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tiling solutions for various projects across Melbourne and surrounding areas.

About This Role

This is a permanent full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect interior or exterior surfaces to determine the best tiling solution
  • Provide accurate estimates for tile quantities, installation time, and costs
  • Clean walls and floors to prepare them for tiling work
  • Remove old grout and cement from surfaces
  • Fill gaps, cracks, and holes in floors and walls
  • Level uneven walls, floors, and other surfaces
  • Spread adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, then set tiles in position
  • Maintain proper spacing and alignment of floor and wall tiles
  • Lay coloured tiles in patterns to create eye-catching mosaics
  • Lay terrazzo, large size laminate porcelain, ceramic, and mosaic tiles, cement, or granolithic flooring
  • Examine plans, measure, and mark surfaces, laying out work as needed
  • Grind and polish marble and stone surfaces
  • Seal walls and floors upon request by clients
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in tiling
  • White card holder
  • Own a car (preferably a van) and hold a valid Victorian driver's licence
  • Able to work independently while being part of a dedicated team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great multitasking and meeting deadlines
  • Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (preferred) or at least three years of relevant experience
