The Role

This position offers flexible hours aligned to operational needs, based in Sydney or Melbourne.

You will undertake tasks including journalism, content production, planning, preparation, research, writing, producing, sub-editing, translating, and scripting multiplatform content.

Develop content ideas for language audiences and establish contacts with correspondents and stakeholders.

Present audio content on-air, including live interviews, talk-backs, coverage, and outside broadcasts.

Evaluate all scheduled content for broadcast and upload requirements, adhering to editorial guidelines.

About You

You should be able to research, write, produce, translate, and present audio content on-air and online platforms.

Craft engaging abstracts for online and social media, demonstrating understanding of SEO and CMS principles.

Proficient in translating from English to Malayalam and vice versa, with a strong ability to work independently.
