Caring and customer service focused, this role is ideal for a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
As an experienced Oncology Nurse, you will join our nursing team at Sydney Southwest Private Hospital and be responsible for providing evidenced-based nursing care, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring patient and staff safety.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide quality patient care through direct and indirect care activities
- Liaise with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of care
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Supervise and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

Requirements
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Children check
- Minimum 2 years recent Oncology Nursing Experience
- Competent in Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration
- Competent in IV Cannulation & Accessing of CVAD/Ports
- ADAC trained and certified
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
