At Nepean Private Hospital, we are seeking experienced Perioperative Registered Nurses to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and working in a dynamic environment.

Job Description

As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and support.

  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
  • Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote recovery and rehabilitation
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Authority to Work in Australia
  • Working with Children Check
  • Experience working in Perioperative Nursing, preferably in Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, or ENT surgery

Nepean Private Hospital is a modern 109-bed facility located in Penrith, Western Sydney. We provide a wide range of health services, including orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology, general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography, and obstetrics. Our hospital has eight operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre, and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit including intensive care.
