Project Manager for Marine Infrastructure Project

About the Project:

">

The project involves working from a 1000t Jack Up Barge equipped with a 400t offshore pedestal crane. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and scheduling the works, planning and reviewing heavy lift studies, weekly and monthly reporting, and cost forecasting and budget management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical guidance to the construction delivery team to support the delivery of this unique multi-disciplinary package of marine construction works.">
  • To lead and mentor younger engineers, ensuring adherence to financial and contractual parameters during the delivery stages.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in marine construction or offshore infrastructure delivery, with a background in piling, heavy lifting, marine logistics, tunnelling or underwater installations. A minimum of 5 years in a Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer or leadership role within civil/marine environments in Australia for contractors is required.

Certifications and Education:

A minimum Bachelor's degree in construction (civil/structural/marine) or related field is required. Deep understanding of HS&E standards and best practices is also essential.
