
Production Procurement Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Planner to manage our procurement process and drive production schedules.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process and drive production schedules
- Generate purchase orders based on planning schedules
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to convey product availability, timelines, delays or supply interruptions and completion dates
- Monitor and report on factory effectiveness
- Manage item costs and updating price, product and vendor details in the ERP system
- Source new products and components
- Component and final product quality control
- Coordinate logistics and incoming freight
- Monitor inventory levels, create production work orders, and monitor lead times to ensure customer orders are fulfilled within timeframes
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Planner. The successful candidate will have strong production planning and scheduling experience and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
The company has a proven track record of providing high-quality products and services to customers. The role involves working with a team of product designers, engineers, and sales advisors to deliver innovative solutions.
Requirements- Essential Skills:
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong production planning/scheduling experience
- Familiar with ERP or MRP systems
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Experience with managing Inventory and Bills of Material
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong Safety focus with a preventative proactive approach
