At Berry Street, we provide specialised therapeutic intervention services for infants, children and young people who have suffered trauma, neglect and disrupted attachment.

As a Clinician, you will be part of our comprehensive clinical framework and supported by a knowledge team that provides internal clinical practice development, research and specialist consultation to enhance outcomes for service users.

  • You will work in the Shepparton location, serving the Yorta Yorta Country community.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing responsive clinical services to clients at various stages of care, including assessment, treatment and closure.
  • Conducting assessments and developing therapeutic treatment plans guided by the Neurosequential model and/or other clinical measures.
  • Working in a systemic and collaborative manner with clients, families and care teams to achieve goals within specified timeframes.
  • Providing face-to-face clinical services across the Hume Region.

We are seeking a qualified Clinician with relevant Bachelor level or higher qualification in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline.

You will have a sound understanding of the complexities of the service system, a demonstrated ability to provide direct service in clinical assessment and treatment, and a sound understanding and demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community.
