About the Role

This role is for an experienced Child and Family Therapist to join our team in providing therapeutic services to children who have suffered trauma, neglect, and disrupted attachment.

The Opportunity

  • Work collaboratively with our team to facilitate reflective practice and build knowledge of therapeutic parenting strategies
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans with clients and care teams
  • Support staff in implementing evidence-based approaches to supporting young people in out-of-home care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted clinical services within strict timeframes
  • Work collaboratively with clients and care teams to achieve agreed goals within specified time frames
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each child

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or higher qualification in a Health or Welfare related field
  • Significant experience conducting clinical work with children (minimum 5 years)
  • Sound decision-making skills reflected in excellent clinical judgments
