We offer a range of therapeutic intervention services for infants, children and young people who have suffered trauma, neglect and disrupted attachment. Our team provides care, support and protection for these vulnerable children.
Our comprehensive clinical framework is supported by a knowledge team that offers internal clinical practice development, research and specialist consultation to enhance outcomes for our service users.

- This is a full-time, permanent role with opportunities for professional growth and development.
As part of our service system, we provide training, consultation and reflective practice. We also conduct and disseminate evaluation research on our therapeutic services. Our flagship site is the Child Trauma Academy, where we implement the Model of Neurosequential Therapeutics to guide intervention planning.
The Clinician will:
- Provide responsive clinical services to clients at various stages of the episode of care, including assessment, treatment and closure. Therapeutic work can range from short to long term.
- Conduct assessments and develop therapeutic treatment plans guided by the Neurosequential model and/or other clinical measures, with clear goals that are reviewed regularly.
- Work in a systemic and collaborative manner with the client, family and the care team to achieve goals within the specified time frame.
- Provide face-to-face clinical services across the Hume Region.
We are seeking a qualified Therapist with relevant Bachelor level or higher qualification in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline.
You will have a sound understanding of the complexities of the service system, a demonstrated ability to provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families, and a sound understanding and demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community.
Benefits Package- $15,900 pa (pro rata) Salary Packaging + Additional Salary Packaging for meals/accommodation.

A strong foundation in Psychology, Social Work or a related field is essential. You will require advanced communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
It is desirable to have experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
