Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and positive Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist to work with clients in achieving optimal health and return-to-work outcomes.

This role involves completing assessments remotely for injured workers, offering flexibility in location.

The successful provider is looking for a skilled Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist to take on a varied caseload of workplace rehabilitation cases. The main focus is working towards return to health and work outcomes in a safe and timely manner.

  • Completing remote assessments
  • Vocational Assessments predominantly
  • Liaison with key stakeholders
  • Working closely with a strong employment services division
  • Completion of high-level written reporting

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to help clients return to health and work. They will be confident in providing assessments in a remote setting, with the ability to build strong rapport with clients.

Requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling (with relevant registration & membership ASORC etc)
  • Previous occupational rehabilitation experience
  • Recent experience with NSW Workers Compensation cases
  • The ability to work effectively on an independent basis
  • Positive and client-centred professional with great communication skills in a remote setting
  • ABN & Professional Indemnity insurance (or willingness to gain)
