The OpportunityWe're seeking a seasoned Principal Software Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our investment and superannuation platform applications. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge software solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with our Development Managers, Heads of Software Engineering, and Architects to design and develop innovative software solutions.
- Lead a team of talented Software Engineers, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and ensuring best practices.
- Hands-on involvement in delivering projects, enhancements, and technical support using modern .NET and cloud technologies.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of processes and procedures, and help shape the strategic direction of our platform applications.
- Work closely with our Enterprise Architect and Heads of Software Engineering to align technical designs and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the development cycle.
We're looking for a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in microservice web application development and DevOps practices. You should have a strong background in cloud architecture, particularly Azure, and be able to design and implement scalable, resilient cloud solutions for high-traffic, mission-critical systems. You'll also need to be an exceptional problem-solver with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges, and have strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.
