The OpportunityAs a Principal Software Engineer at Netwealth, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our investment and superannuation platform applications. You'll work closely with our development teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain cutting-edge software solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with development managers, heads of software engineering, and architects to drive technical design and implementation.
- Leading a team of talented software engineers, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and ensuring best practices.
- Hands-on involvement in delivering projects, enhancements, and technical support using modern.NET and cloud technologies.
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of processes and procedures, and helping shape the strategic direction of our platform applications.
- Working closely with our enterprise architect and heads of software engineering to align technical designs and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the development cycle.
We're looking for a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in microservice web application development and DevOps practices. You'll have a strong background in cloud architecture, particularly Azure, and be able to design and implement scalable, resilient cloud solutions for high-traffic, mission-critical systems.
You'll be an exceptional problem-solver with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges. You'll build strong relationships with your team and across departments, facilitating seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
