About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Sydney. Reporting to the State Manager NSW, you will be responsible for planning, direction and coordination of all plant operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to OH&S requirements and regulations.
  • Plan, develop and coordinate manufacturing and production operations to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Analyze operational procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Lead with a focus on positive culture and efficient manufacturing practices.
  • Effectively communicate ideas and solutions to leadership teams across operational and functional areas.
  • Ensure compliance with third-party certifications and business policies.
  • Responsible for Purchasing and Inventory Control procedures in accordance with demand and stock requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO9001:2015 Quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain high-level employee relationships.
  • Manage Production Planning and Logistics.
Requirements for Success
  • High degree of quality and safety awareness.
  • Extensive management experience in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of building and construction industry.
  • Qualifications in Lean Manufacturing preferred.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Supply Chain Management or an MBA highly regarded.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
