Senior Perioperative Nursing Manager

At Calvary, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Manager to lead our Anaesthetics Team. This full-time permanent position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that high standards of care and quality are maintained at all times. They will also play a key role in the initiation, planning, design, implementation, management and evaluation of unit/wards at Calvary Health Care.
About You
Our ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record in clinical excellence. They will be registered as a Nurse with AHPRA and hold a current practising certificate with no restrictions. Additionally, they will have demonstrated clinical expertise in the Anaesthetics area, experience in resource and cost management, and a desire to work as part of a team committed to exceptional clinical care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and management for the Anaesthetics Team
- Commitment to excellence in quality perioperative nursing care
- Governance of practice in adherence to relevant standards, guidelines and policy
- Resource management including procurement and human resources
- Participate and contribute to the Procedural Areas Leadership Team
