As a Product Designer at Xero, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobile accounting.

This involves delivering consistent, high-quality designs, advocating for design value and collaboration, conducting research to understand context and trends, and defining problems to create frameworks for solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Research and Testing: Identify opportunities for research, plan and conduct studies relevant to your product area, participate in user research, analyze findings, and join user testing with our research teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop strong relationships and influence across teams, actively participating in cross-functional conversations, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers, and working alongside development teams during sprints to ensure the design vision is brought to life effectively.

Requirements:

  • Experience designing for native iOS and Android applications.
  • Experience working in a product-led environment, focusing on user experience and business outcomes.
  • Understanding of building and iterating products or experiences based on usage patterns and user feedback.
  • A portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work, improving the user experience, and contributing to business outcomes.
  • Skill and experience across the design process from uncovering customer needs and pain points to executing elegant interfaces.
