Business Intelligence Developer

Develop and implement high-quality data integration solutions that meet business requirements. This role involves designing, building, testing, and maintaining large-scale data assets using various tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of data assets by enhancing data management capabilities through the creation of integrated applications that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into data warehouses and Data Lake.
  • Undertake analysis, design, development, prototyping, testing, and maintenance activities in a Teradata EDW environment to deliver complex reporting solutions.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining automated data integration applications by developing complex SQL programs within a Teradata EDW environment.
  • Perform analysis of technical requirements to support project evaluation with proposed solutions.
  • Ensure excellent data quality and high standards in Management Information solutions.
  • Develop ETL solutions using industry-standard tools such as SQL Assistant, Teradata Studio Viewpoint, Pcom, and Control-M.

Requirements:

  • At least 4+ years' experience in at least one of the following tools: Teradata SQL Assistant, Teradata Studio.
  • A working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Unix, Linux, and/or JCL.
  • Demonstrated strong written communication skills explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven experience in the use of ETL to Teradata environments.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering data analytics solutions for large-scale projects.
