This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at RACV Cape Schanck Resort, where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our golf course.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service to members, guests, and the general public\
• Manage bookings and enquiries, welcome players and guests, and provide assistance in preparation for tee off\
• Coordinate, issue, clean, drive, and maintain golf carts and sport hire equipment\
• Assist with course marshalling, driving range operations, and organising golf events\
• Assist in the golf shop to open and close, retail purchases, and merchandising of stock\
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of golfing rules and operations\
• Work effectively in a team environment, contributing to the overall success of the resort\
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders\
• Continuously improve knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices\
• Ensure a safe and secure working environment for all staff and customers\
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance performance and achieve goals\
• Other duties as required by management\
• Contribute to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty through proactive communication and problem-solving\
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to make informed decisions and recommendations\
• Take ownership of tasks and projects, prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines\
• Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and support\
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, customers, and external partners\
• Proactively seek feedback and act on suggestions to improve processes and outcomes\
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new ideas and initiatives that benefit the business and customers\
• Perform other related tasks as required by management\

Requirements:

• \
• Experience in golf course operations or golf & sport retail environment\
• Knowledge of golf course operations, rules, and etiquette\
• Valid Driver's Licence and RSA Certificate\
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office & MiClub\
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills\
• Effective time management, positive attitude, attention to detail, and work well in a team environment\
• Excellent grooming and personal presentation\
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 20kg)\
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent walking, standing, and manual handling\
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and overtime as required\
• Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing priorities and demands\
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems\
