Job Opportunity:

The Department of Communities and Justice is seeking an exceptional leader to join our team in the Child Protection Helpline.

As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality intake and triage services for child protection matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Community Services Officers to deliver excellent customer service and support vulnerable children and their families.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance and productivity of the team.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, and community partners.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • A relevant diploma or degree in a field such as welfare, community services, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A current driver's license and a clean driving record.
