The ideal candidate will have at least a relevant Australian Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in the same role, organisation skills, and good communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the drawing, planning and organisation for commercial projects.

Duties Will Include But Not Limited To:

  1. Create sketches, shop drawings, working drawings, production drawings and specifications according to client's instructions.
  2. Review, translate and detail the architectural drawings relating to work required.
  3. Selecting, inspecting/reviewing & estimating material required for work.
  4. Analyse technical implications of the design concept, wind loads, calculation weights, volumes and stress factors to comply with relevant Australian Standards and BCA.
  5. Determine procedures and instructions to be followed, according to design specifications and quantity of required materials.
  6. Create freehand drawings and lettering to accompany drawings (when required).
  7. Operate computer-aided drafting equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, shop drawings, production drawings, working drawings, charts, forms and records.
  8. Assure that relevant Acts, Regulations and standards are met while undertaking measuring and drawing.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality designs and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
