Sustainability Manager, Built Environment Professional

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Manager, Built Environment to join our Technical Services team at the John Lewis Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of our Responsible Property Framework (RPF), ensuring that our physical estate is aligned with legislation, policies, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve the RPF to meet our sustainability goals and aspirations.
- Assess and address climate risks across our built environment.
- Monitor and enhance indoor environment quality.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure best-in-class delivery.
- Oversee Scope 1, 2, and selected Scope 3 carbon reporting.
Requirements
- Degree in sustainability or an engineering discipline.
- Business strategy skills.
- Influencing and negotiating skills.
- Communication of complex data to senior stakeholders.
