Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced catering assistant to join our team. This role will involve providing high-quality support services, working closely with our clinical and care teams to deliver nutritious meals while maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up each servery and dining area ready for each meal period, as well as assisting with meal preparation when required. They will also maintain cleanliness and organisation of areas where food is prepared and served, monitor and record requirements of the Food Safety Plan, and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in providing catering assistance or hospitality in a similar role. You will also need to have demonstrated knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety, good communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and accurately and to communicate effectively. A team player with the ability to prioritise and adapt to various ways of supporting residents is essential.
