Job Role Summary

This permanent part-time role is a unique opportunity to utilize your catering skills in a role where you can make a positive impact on residents' lives.

The successful candidate will provide residents with an empathetic and personal approach, assisting with basic food preparation, providing meals and snacks, clearing dining areas and dishwashing, maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices, and supporting the broader team as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and cooking for residents
  • Provide personalized meal service to meet residents' dietary needs
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas
  • Maintain accurate records of food preparation and inventory
  • Support the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

  • Cert III in Hospitality or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of resident rights and aged care accreditation standards
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
