Job Title: Finance Officer
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Officer to join our team at Novotel Sydney Darling Square and Pumphouse Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day financial and administrative tasks for the department.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Process credit applications, invoicing, debt collection, accounts receivable, and general cashiering duties.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and departments within the business.
- Ensure adherence to finance department policies and procedures.
- Support other roles within the Finance department as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or tertiary education in a related field.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
- Experience working with Excel.
- Australian working rights and flexibility with working hours.
