Key Roles and Responsibilities

Drive exceptional coffee experiences in our Gold Coast cafe by fostering a positive team environment, promoting quality standards, and maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the cafe team to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
  • Enforce strict quality control across food, drink, and cleanliness.
  • Grow the recurring customer base through exceptional service and achieve a high Google rating.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a day or cafe manager.
  • 4 or more years of experience as a barista.
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • Current RSA certification.
Preferred Qualifications:

The following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Certification in Hospitality or a related field.
  • Baking or food handling experience.
  • Marketing, photography, or writing experience.
Personal Requirements:

In addition to your professional skills, you should also possess:

  • Australian citizenship or residency with a valid long-term visa to work in Australia.
  • Availability to work at least one weekend day each week.
  • Willingness to work shifts from 4:45am to 3:00pm weekdays.
  • A passion for coffee and tea.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
