Job Summary:

We are seeking a Farm Assistant to assist the farm manager in achieving the goals of the operation. The successful applicant will perform general farm work, including planting, fencing, equipment maintenance, and animal care.

The Role:

  • Continuing, Full time (35 hours per week)
  • Level 4 - Competitive salary package
  • Wagga Wagga

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the farm manager in operating and maintaining agricultural machinery
  • Work with livestock, including cattle and sheep
  • Perform general farm repairs and maintenance
  • Develop capital development projects

Key Requirements:

  • Good stockmanship and hands-on farming experience
  • Physical capacity to undertake manual labor
  • Knowledge of modern agricultural machinery and practices
