Middle Years Teaching Leader

This is a full-time ongoing role for an experienced Year Level Coordinator who can lead and coordinate our Middle Years teaching team.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will have a strong background in Physical Education and be able to teach VCE curriculum with expertise. They will also have experience in wellbeing and be able to engage students in a rigorous and high-standard learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the Year Level team to achieve excellent academic results and provide an innovative, inclusive and caring environment for all members of the school community.
- Teach VCE Physical Education and develop engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions between year levels and across subjects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Master of Teaching / Bachelor of Education / PGCE).
- Victorian Institute of Teachers registration (or eligibility to gain).
- Knowledge of the VCE Physical Education curriculum.
- Experience in wellbeing and student engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
