About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overall management of a large, state-of-the-art warehouse facility. Key responsibilities include:

  • Arranging container unpacks and empty returns to ensure seamless supply chain operations
  • Ensuring goods are stored at the correct temperature to maintain product integrity
  • Order fulfilment, receiving & dispatch activities within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Managing a team of 4-5 storemen to optimize productivity and efficiency
  • Monitoring due dates & lead times to maximize delivery performance
  • Prioritizing orders for release in line with delivery due dates to meet customer expectations
  • Inventory Management to minimize stockouts and overstocking
  • Assisting with process improvement initiatives and documentation to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensuring workplace health and safety policies are met to safeguard employees

About You

  • 3+ years experience managing a logistics or warehousing facility
  • Experience running a temperature-controlled facility
  • Staff management experience, including leadership and mentoring
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience, preferably Cargowise1
