About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity to lead and manage physical security infrastructure at a diverse range of facility types across the state.

The successful candidate will develop and implement policy, procedures, and guidelines for the installation, operation, and management of security systems in accordance with relevant legislation, Australian Standards, and NSW Health Policy.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing standards, equipment specifications, and plans for physical security infrastructure, managing electronic access control systems databases, providing support for planned and reactive maintenance, facility upgrades, and asset planning pertaining to physical security, and integrating physical security systems with the broader organisation and NSW Health to protect people and assets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policy, procedures, and guidelines for security systems
  • Develop and implement standards, equipment specifications, and plans for physical security infrastructure
  • Manage electronic access control systems databases
  • Provide support for planned and reactive maintenance, facility upgrades, and asset planning
  • Integrate physical security systems with the broader organisation and NSW Health
About You

We are seeking an experienced security professional with strong knowledge of electronic and physical security systems, including access control, alarms, CCTV, and security policies.

Desirable skills and qualifications include good understanding of relevant legislation and standards, experience with networked access control systems, advanced use of Microsoft Office, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, experience leading teams, delivering security programs, understanding asset management, and government and regulatory compliance requirements.

Candidates should possess an NSW Class 2A Security Consultant License and have a proven ability to develop and implement risk management strategies that protect people and property.
