Taking your career to new heights requires passion and drive. As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for assisting with project management of corporate actions such as floats, takeovers, buy-backs, and rights issues.

Role Overview:

You will work closely with Project Managers to assist with tasks related to corporate actions, including preparing project documentation and ensuring compliance with internal and external supplier contracts and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers with corporate action tasks.
  • Manage minor corporate actions by scoping projects in accordance with client requirements.
  • Document project assumptions and identify optimal processing options.
  • Prepare comprehensive project management documentation.
  • Execute and deliver capital markets projects on time and within budget.
  • Participate in reviews of projects to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with the preparation of invoices and review third-party invoices.
  • Support the preparation and implementation of cost-efficient business plans.
  • Provide support to ensure the delivery of key milestones.

Experience & Skills:

A successful Project Officer will have knowledge of the securities industry and financial markets, including Corporations Law, ASTC Settlement Rules, and ASX Listing Rules.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high initiative and organizational skills.

Familiarity with financial markets, law, or the securities industry is highly desirable.
