We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity expert to lead our company's security function and drive the development of our end-to-end tactical cybersecurity strategy.

This role will involve owning our security across infrastructure, products, blockchain systems, and compliance. You will be responsible for leading initiatives that protect company assets, data, and infrastructure while enabling safe and scalable growth in a high-trust environment.

This is an opportunity to shape the security culture of our organization, work closely with executives and engineering teams, and build innovative controls in a blockchain-native context.

As a security leader, you will have the autonomy to define and execute a company-wide security strategy that aligns with regulatory obligations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with regulatory requirements and business goals.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of our ISMS program, including ownership of ISO 27001 audits, risk assessments, and policies.
  • Oversee the security of infrastructure, applications, networks, and cloud services.
  • Guide cryptographic strategy, including security controls for blockchain-based applications and smart contracts.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Develop and maintain robust detection and monitoring capabilities to respond to emerging threats.
  • Foster a security-first culture across the organization.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in security engineering, preferably in fintech or regulated industries.
  • Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Hands-on expertise in infrastructure, cloud security, and secure networking.
  • Strong background in application security, secure software development, and DevSecOps.
  • Deep knowledge of cryptography, key management, and secure financial systems.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks and financial regulations.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex risks to technical teams and senior executives.
  • Leadership experience in cross-functional projects and security initiatives.
