About the Opportunity

Dexus is a leading Australasian real estate and infrastructure portfolio manager seeking an experienced sustainability professional to drive its environmental strategy forward. As an Environmental Sustainability Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with various teams to implement climate-related initiatives, enhance data collection processes, and contribute to the development of a clear climate strategy and net zero roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will lead collaboration with Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, and Finance to prepare public sustainability disclosures, including the Annual Reporting Suite and climate-related disclosures in line with the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards.
  • Contribute to the governance of committees and deliver communications internally and externally, ensuring the accuracy of sustainability statements.
  • Develop and implement large-scale sustainability change initiatives and ensure operationalization within corporations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability within Dexus's workplace systems and culture.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Environmental Sustainability, Communications, Finance, Engineering, Science, or a related field, with a strong foundation in sustainability principles.
  • Proven experience in delivering sustainability reporting and climate-related disclosures, with a solid understanding of their relationship with financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing environmental sustainability programs, managing large-scale sustainability change initiatives, and ensuring operationalization within corporations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent program management capabilities, and sound data and numerical analysis skills, coupled with commercial acumen.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000 - $150,000 AUD, depending on location and experience.
