Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Coordinator to support and manage diverse portfolios of Mechanical Fabrication and Fitting projects.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for major capital and R&M projects to drive continuous improvement of asset performance.
  • Liaise with internal and external resources to develop customer requirement specifications and engage contractors for pre-work, shut work, and commissioning tasks.
  • Develop technical specifications, ensure project documentation is completed, and provide technical advice during handover and post-commissioning activities.
  • Supervise maintenance and installation activities while ensuring safety standards are never compromised.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in site supervision and industrial project management.
  • Fabrication or mechanical fitting background with a trade qualification, diploma, or degree.
  • Understanding of interpreting structural fabrication drawings and welding processes.
  • Able to influence peers and colleagues to meet operational requirements, scheduling, and people demands.
