About the role

Truland Development is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of construction projects in Wollongong, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all on-site operations and ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of projects. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet project objectives

  • Coordinating and supervising all on-site construction activities, including labour, equipment, and materials

  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies

  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks

  • Liaising with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery

  • Mentoring and leading a team of construction workers and subcontractors

  • Preparing and submitting progress reports, change orders, and other project documentation

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager or similar construction supervisory role

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment

  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications

  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental policies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills

  • Proficient in the use of construction management software and technologies
