We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Development Specialist to deliver evidence-based early intervention services to children and their families. Our organisation is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting standardized clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need for children aged 0-12 years.
  • Providing information, education, and support to parents and caregivers through individualised sessions.
  • Developing functional, routine-based goals with parents and caregivers.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapy interventions and resources to enhance child development.
  • Reviewing progress and setting new priorities in collaboration with parents and caregivers.
  • Supporting inclusion and participation in community activities that promote social-emotional growth.
  • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders to ensure ongoing communication and support.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Passion for Making a Difference: Have a genuine passion for improving the lives of children and their families.
  • Counselling Skills: Possess excellent counselling skills and knowledge of therapeutic interventions to provide effective support.
  • Experience: Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is highly desirable.
