About this role:

This Strategic Category Manager will be responsible for delivering high-level procurement solutions to support onshore development projects in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will ensure market-leading contracting and supply chain solutions through expert sourcing, negotiation, project management, and contract administration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing the Procurement function internally and externally with professionalism
  • Developing and executing category plans for critical categories and contributing to other category plans
  • Creating contracting and procurement project plans aligned with the procurement SMS and project requirements
  • Identifying, framing, leading, and managing major contracts and procurement packages
  • Mitigating supply chain risk through lessons learned and integrated planning
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and align project strategies
  • Providing expertise in tender probity, evaluation, and procurement policies
  • Negotiating contract terms, variations, and disputes
  • D Driving integration and alignment between procurement schedule, work scopes, and contract packages
  • Contract administration for assigned contracts

Required skills and qualifications:

Any experience in logistics, specifically managing high-value large equipment, and supply chain management, will be advantageous.

Candidates should be proactive in driving efficiencies and continuous improvement, with a focus on collaborative strategies.
