Job Summary

ASRC Federal Holding Company is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and recommend compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in planning changes to physical facilities to meet new environmental requirements.
  • Find, evaluate, and prepare contracts for properly licensed hazardous waste disposal firms and monitor waste handling.
  • Organize and equip spill-control teams.
  • Write and update environmental and spill-control manuals and procedures.
  • Prepare environmental impact statements and apply for new permits and renewals.
  • Provide input to federal and state regulators through trade associations and industry groups for the writing and revision of regulations.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • May require Advanced Degree.
  • 5-7 years of related work experience.
  • Education may be used in lieu of experience.
  • Proficient at applications within Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with Share Point Communication Sites.
  • Must be a US Citizen and be eligible for PIADC clearance, possess a valid driver license and must undergo required examination and vaccination.
