About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to interpret parts catalogs, process orders, and manage inventory for external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source spare parts for mobile plant and heavy machinery from various suppliers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person, addressing queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Utilize manufacturer catalogs and online systems to identify and cross-reference part numbers accurately.
  • Process sales orders, invoices, and quotes with precision to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm stock availability and place timely orders.
  • Maintain and update inventory records to optimize stock levels and minimize wastage.
  • Coordinate closely with the service department to guarantee parts availability for repairs and maintenance.
  • Deliver technical advice and support to customers regarding parts and components.
  • Ensure accurate packaging and dispatch of parts orders to meet customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Spare Parts Interpreter/Coordinator in the automotive, heavy machinery, or diesel industry.
  • A strong understanding of diesel engines and mobile plant equipment is essential.
  • Familiarity with Deutz, Kubota, Hatz, Yanmar, Kohler, and Mann brands is highly valued.
  • The ability to accurately interpret complex data, including parts catalogs, schematics, and manuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including experience with parts inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • An independent and proactive approach to problem-solving, with attention to detail and quality.
