We are seeking a skilled Spare Parts Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret and source spare parts for mobile plant and heavy machinery.
- Assist customers with parts inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Identify and cross-reference part numbers using manufacturer catalogs and online systems.
- Process sales orders, invoices, and quotes accurately.
- Liaise with suppliers to check stock availability and place orders.
- Maintain and update inventory records to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure parts availability for repairs and maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical advice regarding parts and components.
- Ensure correct packaging and dispatch of parts orders.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Spare Parts Interpreter/Coordinator in the automotive, heavy machinery, or diesel industry is essential.
- A deep understanding of diesel engines and mobile plant equipment is required.
- Knowledge of Deutz, Kubota, Hatz, Yanmar, Kohler, and Mann brands is highly valued.
- The ability to accurately interpret parts catalogs, schematics, and manuals is crucial.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are necessary.
- Familiarity with parts inventory systems and Microsoft Office is beneficial.
- The capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to excellence are expected.
