People and Culture Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People and Culture Business Partner to join our team at Tandem Partners. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining a strong and supportive partnership between the operational business unit and People, Culture and Safety.
Your primary focus will be on providing effective, accurate and timely human resources support, advice and coaching to managers and employees across the organisation, with a keen focus on building a positive employee experience. You will work closely with the People and Culture Manager to develop and implement HR strategies that drive a high-performing culture and support the organisation's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees across the organisation
- Develop and implement HR strategies to drive a high-performing culture
- Collaborate with the People and Culture Manager to achieve organisational goals and objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Demonstrated experience in a not-for-profit, family community services, mental health, disability, or volunteer environment
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources management, business, or psychology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including coaching, influencing, and negotiation
- Strong attention to detail and a strong results orientation
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 inclusive of superannuation, commensurate with experience, with salary packaging (up to $15,900 for living expenses and up to $2,650 for meals/entertainment). To achieve the same benefit without salary packaging you would need a gross salary of $141,229.
We are proud to be a supportive team where everyone's contributions matter. While the majority of the workforce currently works remotely, the team gathers regularly at our vibrant head office in Camberwell to foster collaboration and build strong connections. We also organise monthly social activities and team-building events to maintain positive work culture and sense of community.
