Cyber Governance Analyst Job Description

This role supports the delivery of our Cyber Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance program. You will work across teams to manage cyber risk, coordinate assurance activities, and help implement security frameworks—while leveraging AI tools to improve outcomes and efficiency.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our dynamic Cyber Security team and play a pivotal role in shaping our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) program. The successful candidate will support and enhance our cyber security frameworks, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards.

About the Role

  • Support and maintain our Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) program, including third-party security assessments and risk register management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers to coordinate cyber assurance activities, audits, and remediation tracking.
  • Maintain and report on key cyber and technology risk metrics, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of security frameworks, policies, and enterprise threat models.
  • Ethically leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and cyber risk management.

  • You're a proactive and experienced cyber security professional with a strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about using technology and innovation to drive secure, efficient outcomes. You bring:
  • Degree-qualified with extensive experience in cyber security, technology governance, or IT operations.
  • Certified or knowledgeable in ISO 27000, SANS GIAC, CISA, or CISM frameworks.
  • Proven ability to deliver cyber services and manage risk-based security programs.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination skills.
  • Skilled in leveraging AI tools ethically to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
