Job Title: Cyber Security Risk Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Risk Specialist to join our team. As a critical member of our Advice, Assurance and Consulting Squad, you will play a key role in driving our Cyber Security strategy through engagement with stakeholders across the organisation and IT Transformation Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on best practice for managing cyber risk, tracking risk, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop risk papers for senior leaders and the Audit and Risk Committee.
  • Manage the third-party risk management function.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports on cyber security risk.
  • Review and refine the cyber risk management framework.
  • Work closely with the Organisational Risk Management Team.
  • Provide support in remediation activities related to cyber risk.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Act as a security awareness champion, promoting desired outcomes through hands-on approach.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in risk management, preferably with a focus on cyber security.
  • An innovative mindset.
  • Comfortable with security influence activities.
  • Familiarity with risk management best practices and ability to guide development teams and external vendors.
  • Understanding of security concepts and functions.
  • Ability to interact with diverse personnel to explain and enforce risk management measures.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks concurrently.
