Job Title:
Dental Clinic Operations Director

As a Dental Clinic Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing dental practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching, leading & developing a high-performing practice team.
  • Assisting with the overall financial performance of the dental clinic.
  • Maintaining sterilisation, infection control standards and stock control.
  • Patient management, including greeting and welcoming patients, answering phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts.
  • General administration, including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps.
  • Proactively marketing your dental clinic to drive patient numbers.
  • Effectively managing the recruitment & selection for all dental clinic staff.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Prior business and people management experience.
  • Proven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative and time management.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen.
  • Understanding how to generate income and control costs.
  • Able to face into difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise.
  • Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients, and your practice team.
  • Experienced in comprehending and managing the profit and loss statement for the dental clinic.
