Strategic Policy Expert

We are seeking experienced policy professionals to lead policy work and coach junior advisors.
The successful candidates will have a proven track record in problem solving, relationship management, work management, communication, and advisory skills.
About the Role- Provide advice on topical matters such as improving court timeliness and efficiency.
- Work on complex projects with various stakeholders to improve outcomes for users of the justice system.
The role involves leading programmes of work, coaching junior staff, and being supported by a Principal Advisor.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse complex policy issues and options for addressing them.
- Prioritise, plan, and deliver on multiple workstreams.
- Clearly and simply explain complex information for Ministers and other audiences.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Treaty of Waitangi analysis skills are highly desirable.
