As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing and vehicle inspections, diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults, and working within timeframes specified to meet required work standards.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on heavy military vehicles, including 4WDs, armoured tanks, trucks, and infantry personnel carriers.
- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise, staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies.
- Certificate III or equivalent trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or Mobile Plant Technology.
- Proven experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current driver's license and Australian Defence Clearance.
