Job Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for providing authoritative advice and assistance on activities related to strategic information management.

You will provide expert advice and support to senior management on activities relating to clinical data standards, clinical records management, and end-to-end data quality improvement.

The ideal candidate will have highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to consult, negotiate, build and maintain effective relationships with multi-disciplinary staff at various levels throughout the organisation, state, national and industry levels.

In this role, you will report to the Manager of Information Management Strategy and contribute to the development of strategies that promote improved end-to-end service delivery.

About the Role:

  • Provide expert leadership and strategic advice on strategic issues, new initiatives and national developments related to information management.
  • Assist Managers within Health Informatics Services ensure effective communication of strategic information management, clinical data standards, clinical records management and data quality activities across Queensland Health.
  • Identify, promote and enhance shared knowledge and close linkages with programs delivering information systems to maximise consistency and compliance with state and national requirements.

  • Clinical Data Standards: Provide expert advice and support to senior management on clinical data standards.
